• Kies je kombatant! Kombat dwingt vrienden om te vechten, doet werelden botsen en laat onverwachte allianties toe. Voor de allereerste keer binden de krijgers van Mortal Kombat en DC Universe de strijd aan op Xbox®360 en PlayStation®3. En in het ultieme Elseworlds verhaal kunnen spelers ontdekken wat er gebeurt als Sub-Zero het opneemt tegen Batman en anderen.

• Signature Attacks. Elk karakter in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe beschikt over  specifieke bewegingen om tegenstanders uit te schakelen. Zoals het hoort bij een echte Mortal Kombat, beschikt ook Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe over bijzondere, aparte finishing moves.

• Volledig nieuwe fighting systems. Voor de eerste keer in de geschiedenis van Mortal Kombat gaan spelers elkaar te lijf met twee volledig nieuwe fighting systems: Freefall Kombat en Klose Kombat. Freefall Kombat laat spelers toe om in de lucht te strijden terwijl ze van de ene arena in de andere vallen. Klose Kombat is een brutale spelmodus waarbij spelers van zeer nabij de schade kunnen zien die tijdens de strijd wordt toegebracht, zoals kneuzingen, gescheurde kleren, enzovoort.

• Nieuwe single player mode. Spelers kiezen de storyline van Mortal Kombat of DC Universe. Elke verhaal brengt de Mortal Kombat en DC Universe karakters samen in een intens en dynamisch avontuur.

• De Ultieme vechtarena’s. Spelers dagen elkaar uit in verschillende iconische arena’s zoals Metropolis en Gotham City (DC Universe’s), Hell en Graveyard (Mortal Kombat). En dan zijn er nog de nooit eerder geziene combo arena’s die de twee werelden door elkaar mixen.

• Top schrijverstalent! De donkere, realistische toon van het spel ontstond door een intensieve samenwerking tussen het top comics schrijversduo Jimmy Palmiotti en Justin Gray (Countdown. Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters) en de veteranen van Mortal Kombat.

• Strijd online. Je kan nu ook online je vrienden uitdagen.
